Development of and patent application for a self-cleaning system for industrial ovens and combi steam ovens with cleaning products in tab or powder form.
The world’s first introduction of a self-cleaning system for ovens with cleaning and rinsing products in a handy and safe cartridge form.

Licensing of the technology to MKN Maschinenfabrik Kurt Neubauer in Wolfenbüttel.
MKN introduced the WaveClean self-cleaning system in MKN combi steam ovens.

Further development of the MKN WaveClean cleaning products by Wiesheu ProClean GmbH. Introduction of the world’s first two-in-one cleaning and rinsing product in cartridge form.
2008
Split off from the Wiesheu Group in the course of a change in Wiesheu GmbH´s shareholder structure.
Wiesheu Proclean GmbH changed its name to i-clean Technologies GmbH.
Controlling interest in i-clean Technologies by a group of financial investors.
